I knew early in the process that this track was going to be good, but it needed...something.

This afternoon Phil came over, and we talked about music and parties and jobs and life and all that good shit, and he quietly showed me some new ways of thinking about creating music (I've mentioned Phil before in similar context.)

Together, we finished the song -- my best yet (though there's more underway.)
