Return Path (my employer, since late September) has a tradition of posting a photo & short bio of each employee on the walls of the office. Rather than detailing my career, mine was inspired by the author bios in a book of short stories. It is accompanied by this photo.

J.D. Falk is a crazy long-haired California hippie who recently moved to Boulder to follow the only career direction that made any sense. His most enduring influences are Daniel Pinkwater, Rocky & Bullwinkle, the Beatles, and the Art of Noise; more recently J.D. has been listening to indie rock and that particular flavor of drum & bass which apparently was only produced in 1997, while reading everything by Kim Stanley Robinson and Charles Stross. When he grows up J.D. will get an assortment of degrees in creative writing, and will drink tea instead of coffee.
