I've enjoyed classical Indian music (specifically the Maharishi Gandharva Veda series of recordings) for many years, and have always wanted to play it at Chillits. The difficulty was to keep the set musically diverse, which I did by wandering into modern world fusion, dub, jazz, even klezmer.

The fun we'd had at Burning Man inspired Todd and I to keep playing together, culmnating in a near-perfect set at the Semiconscious Liberation Army's one-off funk event in Oakland. Unfortunately, very little from that night was successfully recorded. Todd caught a couple of our prior practice sessions on minidisc, which I've linked from here.

Morning at Camp & Sons, after a long night conversing with Susie Kameny. I've always considered Chillits 2000 to be the pinnacle of my time concentrating on ambient & weird music.
