As I meditated this morning, my head began to itch.

Wordlessly, the realization came that if I wanted the itch to go away, all I had to do was will it.

I did so.

Without conscious direction, my hand reached up and scratched my head, and then returned to its previous location on my knee.

The itch was gone.
