Yes, the literary seminar is in English. It's run by folks who spend most of the year in Brooklyn.

You didn't know that I want to write because I didn't talk much about it. Well, except here on my blog. So if you're reading this, maybe you already knew. Anyway, the desire to write has only recently moved into the active file.

Yes, it'll be a big fun crazy trip.

I'll write more (and take lots of pictures) as the trip progresses.

I'm not ever planning to be the kind of blogger who writes "this is what I did today" every day for years on end; I'm more interested in writing things that I'd actually like to read, either as you or as a future me trying to remember WTF was going on way back in 2007.

Today will be a good day to remember, very likely the high point of a good week -- and this is shaping up to be a good month.

Some people -- some friends -- are going to ask why I left a particular anti-spam mailing list after eleven and a half years, and what that means.
